Question
once you can see that the Mollies have bred about how long will it take
for the babies to be born? How long does it take for the babies grow
into adults? How can you tell if a molly is pregnant and how can you
tell if a guppy is pregnant?

Answer
The gestation period is about 1-2 months. It is very different between fish depending on the temperature, water quality, age of the fish and feed schedule.

The babies will take about 1 year to grow close to adult size, but they will look like miniture versions of their parent within 6 months. Again, varies greatly.

With both fish look for the gravid spot.

See that black spot behind the stomach? That is a sure sign that the fish is pregnant. When the fish loses that spot it is not pregnant.
