what is the coldest water temperature for a placostumus,
wondering if it could live in a pond.

Answer
I've seen them able to withstand ponds at times, as they can acclimate to colder water, but I don't know the maximum as each fish is different. You would have to check on the fish to see how it is doing. If you feel it's too cold the safest thing to do is bring it indoors to a tank.
