QuestionI have a 10 gallon freshwater tank and 4 small fish in it. I was wanting to get a "sucker fish/ algae eater for my tank and do not know which one to get. Please help!
AnswerHi Taresah;
The best algae eater for small tanks is called "Otocinclus". They grow to be no larger than two inches long and aren't aggressive at all. I would get two for a ten gallon. Here is a web page about them;

Avoid the algae fish known as the "Chinese Algae Eater". They get very mean as they mature, especially in a small tank. Also avoid all types of plecostamus. Most get far too large (a foot long) and even the small types need a bigger tank than ten gallons.
