I bought medice but it says remove carbon and zeolite filter. What does this mean?

You need to remove the carbon source from your filter so the medication does get removed in the filtering process. You can leave the filter run just take out the filter. The Zeolite filter is probably a specific filter that will also remove the medication from the water if not removed. Most power filters have just a filter cartridge with the exception of AquaClear filters as I believe they have more than one type of filter media used. Best of luck....
