I have a cichlid that looks like a skeleton, she swims good and eats well. The only problem is that its very small in body width, When i purchased her se looked normal..

She more then likely is suffering from internal parasites that are taking all of the nutrition she is ingesting.  Raise the aquarium temperature to about 82F and add about 1 tablespoon of aquarium salt per gallon of water to your tank, this will create a fouren environment for the parasites and cause them to die off.  In about a week do a 30% water change and start to lower the aquarium temperature back down to around 76 - 78F.
