Hornwort plant

Hi Dave,
I have a small Eclipse System 3 (3 gallons) tank setup with two zebra danios. My tank is completely cycled. I am considering adding a hornwort plant. I am not experienced with aquatic plants, so I am asking if adding a hornwort to this tank makes sense, or am I asking for trouble? What issues should I take into consideration?

Hi Tony:  Hornwort would be addition to your tank. I would not add more then 2-3 stalks of it.  You will also have to make sure that you keep it trimmed up as it can grow quite long.  I usually cut off the tops when they have grown about 6-8 inches and replant them.  dave
