Question
HI i asked a question yesterday about a very sick discus (Cyan). Well he/she died last night.:(
We are very sad but I am still wondering why Cyan died.
I have added some photos to show you what the dead fish looked like.
In the pictures, Cyan was white with light blue fins, when he/she was alive, Cyan was a blue gray colour.
The divider in the tank had a gap at the side to ensure that filtered water got through and the filter was even pointed at the gap. The gap was big enough for a large tetra to get through or a small plec or an over weight young platy.
The fungus that Cyan had was white and around and above his/her eyes. There was a bubble-thing above his/her left eye and it was filled with a white puss-substance that filed up over the course of the past two days. One of the pieces of fungus(there were several small bits) had some red stuff under it, what was this?????
Some of the fungus disappeared last night, leaving a place that looked like there were no scales.
He/she was listing last night too and was bucking like a horse when he/she was in open water??????????
Do you have any answers as to why he/she died??
Thanks

Answer
Aj,

I have included a website that talks about what I think your fish had. Take a look at it and let me know if that is what your fish  looked like. Unfortunately, the pics you posted did not post to your question.
