ummm im not sure how to put this so ima jus explain to best of my knowledge........ive a freshwater tank for about 5 months n recently got an algea eater and fancy tailed guppys besides them the first family was a goumi(tetra famiiliy) a albino clawed frog and a blue lobster/.....the problem is my algea eater maybe missing any eye actually pretty positive it is could this have been due to the other pets or could this of been natural or what i have no idea and couldnt tell u if he was missing it when i got him cuz today was the first day i was able to see the other side to tell for sure there was no eye......i hope u have some answers soon

It is possible that it was missing when you got it. It also could have happened in the new tank. It is really hard to tell. He should be ok though just make sure he is eating good. He will do fine with just one eye, but it might be hard for him to see the food you give him. Just keep an eye on him to make sure no one is picking on him. If things change or you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask.
