Vacation Feeders and Feeding Times

QUESTION: What do you think about Vacation Gel Feeders as aposed to Block Feeders. I have 5 gold fish in a 20 gal. tank. How many days can I go without feeding the fish.I have been told, 1 time per week also every 3 days.Thank you very much. Fred New Jersey USA.

ANSWER: It really depends on how big the feeder is. It should say how many days it can last on the packaging.

QUESTION: Are Gel Feeders Better then the Block Feeders. How often should I feed the Gold Fish.

Answer
The block feeders are better because they won't cloud the water as much and they won't have bacteria growing on them as easily. Just follow the instructions given on the feeder/food and it will tell you how much you should feed them.
