powder blue gourami breeding

Question
I have two male powder blue Gourami's, one of them has built a bubble nest, the other male occasionally comes to visit and they rub together underneath the nest.  What are they doing and can Gourami's change sex (like some fish) in order to breed?
I sure would appreciate any knowledge you may have about this!

Hi Bruce,
To my knowledge I don't believe that Dwarf gouramis can change sex. I know that Swordtails can however. But I don't believe gouramis can.

It may be a territorial issue as that would be quite logical since dwarfs are usually aggressive towards one another.
