Cleaning inside of tank

Question
Hi, Im currently treating my tank for ick using wardley wellness ick out senstive because I have a pictus in there.  My problem is after first day of treatment there seems to be a clear residue on the inside of the tank walls.  I dont currently have scraper to use, and I would like to clean this off without removing the fish while there in treatment.  Unless of course, whatever the residue is, isnt harmful to them.  Is there anything else I can use to wipe this off that wouldnt effect the water?  Its not harden to the side of the tanks.  If I use my finger it smears right off.  Thank you in advance.

Answer
Hi Nicole

I don't know what that residue is, but I'm guessing it's something to do with the meds since it showed up about the same time.  I'm not familiar with that med(there's so many of them out there now),  but I would just go ahead and wait till your done with the treatment, and just follow the instructions for water changes, and clean it at that time to be on the safe side.  I can't say for sure, but it may be possible that's actually part of the treatment.
