Upside down cat has wierd symptoms

Question
Hello!  I have a female upside down cat who started showing wierd symptoms. She had what appeared to be a scrape on her head and from this point has since developed a cylindrical red "horn."  I have isolated her into a treatment tank where she has freshwater fish salt and Aquarisol added to the water.  She does not seem to be in any discomfort.  What on in the world is on her head?
