goldfish in comunity tank?

I have a large comunity tank with 3 guppys 2 gouramis 1 cory 1 pleco 1 pictus and 9 mollys i keep the water temp at about 77 degrees. Can a fantail goldfish be in a tropical tank like mine or does it need a seperate tank? will a glodfish be aggressive to my other fish? do they need seperate food (i feed only brine shrimp and blood worms)?

Hi Joe: Goldfish and tropical fish should not be mixed... one is coldwater and the other is tropical (warm water) to mix the two means one or the other will become sick... your tropical fish should be about 78-82 degrees in temp.  Goldfish can be aggressive.. not a good choice for mixing with smaller fish... dave
