Question
hi, I have a 29 gallon freash water tank. a few days ago I noticed a baby. It is small and orange with black fins and tail. I thinl it might be a platy. I've only been able to find the one, I seperated him into an old betta tank of mine, as I dont have any other. he seems happy and right now I'm feeding him NutrafinMax baby fish formula. he seems to like it and comes up to the top and eats it.I was wondering what would be the best way to keep him alive with out feeding him live, or frozen foods?

Answer
do exactly what your doing. flake food is a good staple diet. it will take longer for it to grow but is a good source of food. I would recommend baby brine shrimp. you can get a hatchery kit from a local fish store and hatch them yourself

hope this helps
