bettas with angle fish

Hello, I have had a 2 betas for about 2 years. The one just died so I got an angle fish. It is in a ten gallon tank with a divider and I'm not happy with the divider. Can I possibly put them togather in the ten gallon with out the divider? It is a new tank and has been running for abut 2 1/2 weeks with the one betts. If they cant, can you give me any ideas on what I can pt my beta in? If you cant aswer this, please pass it to someone who could. Thank you.

Hello Danny. It's best not to let the angle fish and the betta swim together. The betta could get aggressive and attack the angle fish. You could try letting them swim together, but if the betta shows any sign of aggression, remove them. If they can't be together, you could just get a separate tank for you betta to be in.
