My beta fish cant swim up.

I have a beta fish that's about nearly 2 years and he has been having trouble lately swimming to the top of the tank.  All he can do is lay on his side at the bottom.  Every time he tries to swim up he would sink right down to the bottom again.  I was wondering if you can tell me what is wrong with my beta fish because i really care for him and would do anything to make him better.  Please reply back.

Matt,                                                        He has a swim bladder infection. Go get some  Melafix it is all natural and efficient. Treat him for 7 days than a water change. In the meantime give him a squeezed between your fingers every other day. Good luck, tina
