what to feed my oscar?

I have three oscars I feed them blood worms and the love it but I try to feed them pellets and they chew and spit them out any other suggestions? They love the feeder guppies but I stop feed them to them after what I read here

Hi Dave,
 You have to be persistent when switching them to pellets.  The spitting out thing is part of them "tasting" the new food. They taste it, decide it is different and spit it out.  Over time, they will accept the pellets.
