Thank you Chris,
Is there anything I can do for Indi's fins and tail he seems to be finding it very difficult to move around because they are all shrivelled? Yes I have bought a proper tank for the other fish.

Thank you Beth

Answer
Hi Beth;

If the fins have white or other abnormality on them he may need a fungus remedy. If they are just 'shriveled' he may just still be suffering from stress. Heat and clean water will help him recover.

If he seems to be sitting on the bottom and not able to get up to the top of the tank very well he may have a swim bladder disorder. The swim bladder is an organ inside the fish that constrols buoyancy. If it fails the fish has a hard time floating up in the water. Shock can cause trouble with it. He will have to recover on his own. There is really no effective treatment I'm afraid. We just have to wait and hope for a full recovery.
