tumors in betta fish?

Question
Hi I've had a male betta for about a year.  About 2 months ago I noticed a black bump under his top dorsal fin. It has continued growing and growing.  I've tried BettaFix medicine, water treatments and table salt. It's now to the point where the bump is so large coming up off his body, and his top fin looks as though it might fall off. He is still active and continues to eat like a piggy, but if he loses his top fin I'm afraid he won't be able to swim.  Is there anything I can do for the little guy?  Thank you

Answer
Hello,
Can i just say never ever ever use table salt for any fish, if they need salt you should use AQUARIUM salt, and the table salt would have really irratated it, im suprised he's still alive, do a 0% water change.

Also unfortuantly there are no cures for growths on fish unless you come across a vet willing to remove it or you are willing to risk it yourself.
But do keep an eye out and ask petshops for any treatments that sould help.

You may end up having to humanel euthanise your fish
Sorry
