Whats the best way to do a water change and what chemicals should I put in after the water change?

Hi Derek,
  The best way to do a water change is to use a gravel vaccuum to clean the gravel.  In the process, you will siphon out a bucket of water.  Replace that with clean new water.  

  I don't add any chemicals to my tank. I let my new water sit for 24 hours in a bucket to allow the chlorine to evaporate, then I use it.
