mickey mouse platy

I have an orange Mickey mouse platy that was pregnant but is no longer, and she is not eating and is just moping around.  I put her in a breeding net and she is just laying on the bottom not eating.  She is extremely skinny and has not eaten for 2 days.  All the other fish seem to be fine and I've tested the water, and its fine.  Do you think she is depressed from losing her babies?  I know livebearing fish sometimes die from giving birth, but I didn't find any babies in the tank, so what's wrong?

I suggest not using the breeder box again. They usually cause more stress than anything else, and a pregnant mother who is stressed out from being netted and put into a very confined space may lose her babies. Next time you want to breed, just net the babies into a separate tank and keep them there until they are large enough not to be eaten.
