prego fish

I have some guppies one of theme is obviously pregnant and the back end of her where the fry would come out of is swollen with spots of red and the front of her has a couple of spots of red, more in the back, a new little baby has appeared, is this just because she gave birth or should i be worried its a little more than that? thank you!

Hi.  Without seeing a picture of what you are talking about, I don't feel comfortalbe in answering your question.  HOWEVER....guppies do not just have 1 fry, they have MANY MANY fry. If the little "red" dots appear to be inside of her, these would be eggs of the fry yet to be born.  If they are lumps on the outside of her, well then I would have to have more info.

Please follow up to this question and let me know if the "spots of red" appear inside or outside of the fish.  By this time, I'm sure she's had more and you may already have your answer, lol.  Please get back to me though, I'm interested in knowing what happened!!
