i have a 55 gal. tank and have some kisser fish, tiger barbs, neons, parrot fish, and a pleco and i have had all of them in that take for about a year no new fish, plants, or anything else have been added. the walls of the tank are turning green, the plants (fake not live) and the rocks have a white film growing all over them and my fish have the white film growing on they eyes and no place else so far. they are starting to die off. what can i do to save the ones i have left?

Hi Manda,
Have you ever checked your ammonia?  You have a bad case of fungus.  Check your water, clean the walls of your aquarium, and rocks, plastic plants, and so on.  If you have ammonia in your water do water changes, as much as 50% every day until you get it down to zero.  Buy a bottle of Melafix, and follow the directions.  I truly do hope that you save your fish.  After you fish are cured, make a 25% water change with a good conditioner every week, and clean your filter.  Try to rinse your filter material in the same temperature as your aquarium water as to not kill the good bacteria.
