Answer
Hello,
They should not be kept in a breeding net. This causes more harm than what it helps, and may stress your fish to the point of fatalities. Buy a cheap ten gallon tank (only about 11 dollars without the lid) and keep your new babies in room temperature water, with plenty of floating plants (fake is fine, as long as they are left to float at the top) and this will be their home home until they grow large enough to join the adults. (That means, large enough not to fit into any of their parent's mouths!)
Mollies are tropical fish, and should always be kept steady somewhere between 78 and 82 degrees F. Warmer is better.
As far as bettas go, you should not introduce two bettas - male and female - into a single tank until it is apparent they are willing to mate with each other. Males generally should not be put into tanks with other males, as they're very territorial and are not called fighter fish for no reason. Females will usually do fine together in a small shoal of about 5 or six, but they will sometimes fight with each other as well.
Balloon mollies, and mollies in general, tend to be fin nippers, and will likely rip the fins off of your betta. It is not recommended keeping them with long, flowy finned fish. And Bettas are tropical fish as well, so the same temperature rules apply for them.
