how do you tell male from female in sunburst wags.

Hi,
I have three sunburst wags and i got them at petsmart and i just wanted to know how to tell male from female.
(by the way the colars are red, green and orange.)

Hi Hannah,
 I assume that you mean wag swordtails?  In that case, the male has a modified anal fin (the fin on the bottom near the back).  It is modified into a gonopodium which is a stout, stiffer body part that he uses for transferring sperm to the female.  Females will also tend to have a larger, more rounded belly.
