my cardinal tetra

is lying on its side at the bottom of the tank for long periods of time is there anything i can do for it?

Hi Simon,
 Unfortunately, there is no little you can do for it, other than possibly separating it from the rest of the fish.  Are other fish attacking your cardinal?
