Question

Ive read that the carbon in the filter. can cause hole in the head in oscars. what kind of filter should i use?
i have a 4 inch oscar in a 22 gal. 1-20gal filter and a 10 gal whisper. i plan to upgrade to a 55 gal. tank next month

Hi Jamaal,
 I seriously doubt if carbon can cause hole in the head.  That doesn't make any sense unless you had a TON of carbon in there.  The most common thing associated with hole in the head is lack of water changes.  You need to change 25% of the water in his tank, once a week, EVERY week, to keep him happy and healthy.
