red eye

hi i woke this mornin and i was bout to feed my fish and i saw one of the fish had a red eye but his other eye was fine. i dont no what to do bout it i was wondering if u konw what could of cause it and if it can be treated??  thanxs!!

 If its on the eye itself, it could be a mote that some fish get and is usually harmless. If it is raised off the eye are the eye is puffy it could be a bacterial infection. if is the latter try dosing the tank with aquarium salt and QuickCure. Using the 2 together can often weaken the bacteria or kill it all together. Always follow the directions on the medicine bottle.
