Oscar hit top of tank now floating

Oh my God

My oscar hit the top of the tank and is now floating.  He was just swimming and spitting out rocks I think he over did it....I just checked he is now up straight....what should I watch for??

Hi Fran,
  Unfortunately there is nothing you can do.  Give him time.  

  Have you been doing regular weekly partial water changes?  If not, you need to be changing 25% of the water once a week, every week.  One of the symptoms of deteriorating water quality is when a fish starts swimming erratically around the tank.
