My betta fish needs help before it dies of starvation!!!

Question
I have 2 female betta fish in the same bowl. They play together and do not fight! I feed my fish little betta bits (pellets). One of my fishes eats the food before the other one has a chance. So one fish is huge full of all the food and one is so skinny because it gets none. I even try putting a net between the two so the other one will eat but it takes forever because the skinny one just holds it in her mouth and then spits it out. It is way to time consuming. I am worried because i have had other betta fish over time and i highly enjoy them. The fishes i have now i practical hate because i cant enjoy them because I'm worried. Please, Please help me...What do i do??? One eats to much, one doesnt eat at all...Please hurry...they haven't been doing so good :(

Please reply ASAP! Thank you,
Heather

Answer
your probably best either seperating them, or buying another female...they do fight, you may not think so, but if there chasing each other they are fighting...also with females there is ALWAYS  a pecking order and the top dog or top fish in this case will get food first and the other will have to wait...just try adding extra and taking remaining food out after they have both eaten, also try feeding live food as it makes them chase them, and 1 fish cant chase them all!

Good Luck
