Bloated Congo Tetra

Question
Hi. I am very much a beginner to fish keeping and I am not sure whether my congo tetra is ill or not. I started my tank about a month ago and added my 3 congo tetra(1 boy 2 girls with mind to increase after letting them settle) after 2 weeks. I have kept feed to a minimum while they adjusted as they were very shy until about 3 days ago (only hiding in the corner half the time), and have slightly increased due to the speed they started responding to feeding now they are less shy. I have noticed today that 1 of my females is looking a little bloated in the stomach, whereas the other 2 still look very slim. I have noticed that most of the time they do swim together however sometimes the slim 2 do swim away and live the bloated one in the corner where they hide when they are feeling shy. I do hope it is just she is eating too much, however if not I hope it has been caught early enough to save. PH-7.2 KH-6d GH-16d NO2-0 NO3-10 temp 24C

Answer
Cheryl,

Without a picture it is hard to tell. Since you have male and female, she could be growing some eggs. I do not think it is form over feeding if you are feeding very small amounts once a day. Just keep an eye on her and if she starts swimming oddly in any way let me know.
