is it fungus or not....

Question
I tried to tweeze the thing off of the poor little guy but it is on tight.. did not want to cause more trauma and I believe the color matches the description of fungal however am bothered that it looks as though it has a apine.
I have treated the tank with Jungle fungus clear and I hope that this will remedy the problem.

Hi Nancy,
 Fungus looks like white cotton fluffy stuff.  I'm not sure what you mean by "apine" ?  Please clarify.  

 Don't tweeze fungus off of a fish -- that will cause more problems than it will fix.
