Beta has enormous stomach

Our Beta's stomach has been growing larger and larger for the last three months.  We aren't over feeding him.  The Beta looks pregnant.  What could this be?

Hi Michelle,
 If your betta has long fins and is colorful, then it is a male betta so there is no way it could be pregnant.  Female bettas look quite different (less color, short fins) and they actually don't get pregnant either -- they lay eggs.

  Unfortunately, it could be that your betta has a problem with his intestine and that is why he is getting larger and larger.
