Question
Sir I have bought a pair of jewel cichlid and they are residing in a 55g tank with some banana cichlids. One of theme is seen suddenly having lots of bubbles in the whole body and gill also.It started after a long play with air bubbles inside the tank and now affected cichlid is residing in the uppermost part of the water and seems somehow not well. All the other fish seems perfectly fine. What should I check for?

Answer
Hi Dip,
When you say "bubbles", do you mean small white bubbles?  If so, that is a disease called ich and you must treat it right away or it will spread to your other fish.  You can buy anti-ich medicine at most pet stores.
