Question
I have a mated pair of Gouldian Finches.firstly these pair weren't feeding their babies and they were throwing the babies from the nest. they have done it along five incubations.and then they learned to feed their babies at sixth incubation.now i have a new big problem.my male gouldian is atacking to female gouldian when everything is normal.  The male is now sitting on the eggs and is attacking the female when she nears the food cup or the nest.when babies born they killed them.expecially she did.now they have a new 5 eggs.and they are still fighting.male still doing same behaviours.
please tell me what can i do.im waiting your answer.thanks.

Answer
The male is killing the babies to get the female to breed. Gouldians are rarely good parents so if you want babies you must either care for them yourself the moment they hatch or find a good pair of Societies and have them raise the babies (Societies are excellent foster parents and will sit on any eggs in their nest)
