Sick Society finch?

Hazelnut   Recently my society finch, Hazelnut has been changing. He's been eating less, squeaking, and biting his feathers from his neck. Today, I noticed a yellow bulge on his neck and I don't know what it is. I've been so concerned and I looked up different reasons to what has happened to him. Please help.

It looks like a crop infection. This is something easily treated with a visit to a vet. My vet prescribes a drug called Nystatin (I doubt that's how its spelt) and after a few doses the infection goes away. This is something that REQUIRES a vet visit as there are no home remedies that I know of that actually work
