Finch babies and what to feed and care for them

I have two finches male and female and they have had 5 clutches so far and until clutch 5 nothing came of the eggs.  On the fifth occasion there were three babies doing well and even started to get feathers then we noticed she stopped feeding them and sat on them 12 hours approximately latter she stayed out of the nest and so to the father I checked on the babies and they were dead.  What can I do this 5th time she has 5-6 eggs and I am scared she will do as she did last time.  How can I intervene to save the babies this time? I need exact fromula and exact directions as I know very little about finches or how to raise babies!  Please hurry and thankyou very much!

Unfortunately there are no exact directions for feeding finches. It's really just trial and error.

That website got me in the right direction. You will more than likely lose a lot more babies until you find the way that suits you the best
