Answer
Hi Alex!

I'm so, so, so, so sorry that this came so late. I was having major computer problems. I realize it might be a bit late to answer your questions, but on the off chance that I'm not I'll go ahead and answer. I urge you not to incubate the eggs. You sound like a first time breeder and first time breeders should never hand-feed chicks without the experience of having parent reared chicks first. You have to hand-feed them every two hours, even during the night. and from the looks of your schedule, that's impossible for you to do. Please reconsider, it's extremely hard to do, especially if you have absolutely no experience with chicks before. Sure, you see the egg, you know they're small, but you don't really realize how small until you hand-feed a newly hatched chick the first time. Even for experienced breeders that hand-feed, only an average of 2 out 6 babies survive if all are hand-fed. I can't tell you not to, but I urge you to reconsider. If you still wish to go on with this, then I'll help you, but you should still think about whether you have the money, time, and energy to hand-feed. To hand-feed you have to buy special formulas and weaning foods, special tools and lamps. On average I spend almost $30 a week just to buy food, formula and such, and up to $50 to buy bulbs for the special lighting and feeding tools, but it's your choice. Again, sorry for the delay in answering.

Hope this helps!
