Budgie feeding on own

Question
HI,  I have a large aviary and my budgies have breed and hatched 2 babies without a box. They are one month old now but unfortunately after their first flight in two consectutive days I have lost one.  I have a part soil floor/concrete. Living inside within my cockatiels and budgies are bluetongue lizards.  I have since removed the only baby but am unsure if the parents where still feeding him.  He is very beautiful and calm- he's my baby.  He is on his own in his new cage with seed and water on the bottom. What should i be looking for to assist with feeding say if i can't see any seed eaten say for 2 days?  Thankyou looking forward for some assistance.

Answer
Hi Sharon,

I'm sorry to hear about your other baby :(
Since your baby is already a month old it will have all it's feathers so unfortunatley you won't be able to see it's crop to see if it has eaten. You may have to syringue feed him using formula from the pet shop (buy the grainivore formula) I would also take him to vet and have him looked over.
