budgies food

Hello Calyopea!!

I have a question about my birds food. I have been feeding them pellets and sometimes seed with the occasional fruits and veggies. Is this ok? Is there anything more i should be feeding them?

Hello LuLu,

This is a pretty good diet for your birds. You may want the fruits and veggies to be more of a part of their food...not just occasionally. Budgies love apples and fresh greens. Pellets are good for them, this way they get their minerals and vitamins from this if you are not giving them enough fruits and veggies. Keep this up! This diet is pretty good...maybe more fruits and veggies!
