hi my bird joey is brill hes hilarious loves people n is always out of his cage as he likes to be on us he plays talks says things weve taught him hes ace!!bt hes suddenly started going for my fingers, i mean i knw he likes biting everything but hes not done it b4 ,do u know why?!hes  5 months old now.thanx!x

Hi leigh!

Online I can never be sure why birds do things, all I can do is ask questions to answer your question. First off, has any sudden changes been made in his environment, e.g. more or less time being spent with him, new cage, cage being moved, new toys? Often changes will upset a bird. Does he have anything to chew on in his cage, e.g. a cuttlebone? Birds need to file down their beaks, so his beak may just be bothering him. If you could answer my questions in a follow-up then I may be able to help you more.
