I have 2 Budgies ( ones green and one is blueish) i got them a month ago and my
blue one always bites HARD when i go close to it with ym finger it also makes a
noise that doesnt sound nice and just strikes at my finger, tho my green one is
nice ancd playful and just licks my finger can u tell me how to stop my blue one
form biting?, also can u tell me how to tame my blue one?

Hi Kunal,

Unfortunately your budgie is biting because he is scared, the way to stop this is to gain your budgie's trust by bonding with him and gaining his trust.
This can be a slow process, you will have to seperate the two for a while as your blue budgie has probably bonded with the green one instead of with you.
Can you tell me whether he is finger tamed and if you have clipped his wings. I can then further help you, I'm sorry I just need to gauge which stage you are at with your budgie.

Answer
Hi Kunal,

Budgies fight every so often it's often them just playing not actually fighting, the fact that they groom eachother is a very good thing.

Your blue budgie may never be as nice as your green budgie, budgies like people have different personality. You will have to spend a lot of time with your blue budgie fisrt start by doing a bonding exercise, this is best done in the evening take your blue budgie into seperate darkened room and hold him in your hands gently talking to him cup him against your chest and tell him he's "a good boy" etc. after about 15mins you should feel his body relax now try stroking his head with your finger while still talking to him gently, budgies see grooming as bonding exercise so this will help you gain his trust. You will have to repeat this exercise every night and hopefully you will start seeing results in about 3 weeks.
To finger train slowly put finger upto your budgie in the cage and press against him just above his legs and say the command "up" finger taming takes paitence and time so don't be dissapointed if it takes at least a month before you see results.
An important thing is to seperate the two budgies whilst you are in the process of bonding with and training your blue budgie.

Good Luck and if you have any further questions don't hesistate to ask :)
