How should I do it and should I do it at all?

Question
Hello. My birds are breeding and have a clutch. They are in a small cage and have a nest box inside. I bought a humongous cage today and want to keep the babies with their parents together in the new cage. Now I'm thinking I want to put the breeding pair in the new cage and hang the nest box outside so that I could interact with the babies properly without disturbing the mother. But will be a good decision to move them before the eggs hatch. If so why, if not why. Also if I were to move them do you know how I could do it. They don't sit on my hand but I don't want to ruin the trust they already have in me. So can you tell me what you think is the best thing to do and exactly how to do it?

Answer
I would wait until the eggs hatch and the babies are older.  Moving is a lot of stress on birds, and this way they won't feel stressed and abandon the nest.  Its not too likely to happen, but its best not to risk it.  I know I would feel awful if something were to happen to the clutch because I gave you bad advice.
