Question
can i keep a hen and cock budgie together in a cage. would there be a problem. i feel that one budgie in a cage can be very lonely life.

Dear Barbara,
thank you for your question.
Male and female budgies get along very well. As long as you don't offer a nesting box, they won't breed (I don't recommend trying this unless you know a lot about genetics and general budgie care).
To introduce them, put them next to each other in separate cages. After a day or so, you can lt them outside and usually they will move into one cage very quickly.
