Question
QUESTION: Can I breed Budgies right now? In summer, or a specific season?

ANSWER: Most birds around the world breed in the spring and summer months or when the weather is best.  That is usually the time that budgies naturally go into breeding behavior.  But they can breed at any time of the year.  I've had eggs at Christmas before.  Just keep the conditions right.  As long as they are happy and healthy, and have what they need they will breed whenever they want!

QUESTION: Hey! Sorry to bother you again! But can you tell me if my budgies will breed even if the female is 2 and a half months older than the male? Please reply soon! P.S I think you are a very good expert at budgies and you are very smart!

Answer
Thank you for your kind words, and it is no trouble.  It shouldn't be an issue unless for instance the male is four months and is too young to breed yet anyway.  Age generally isn't a factor.  I have a pair who are going to have babies soon and the male is 11 years old, and the female is 2 years old!  But with an age gap that is that small, I would not worry about it.
