Odd budgie bathing

    I've had many budgie parakeets over the years, and most of them don't care to use the birdbath.  However, they love to bathe in their drinking water, but only if it has been made yellow from their liquid vitamin drops!  Please explain this quirk.

In my experience, most budgies don't like bird baths.  I think that they're bathing in the water once it has had the vitamin drops in it because they are deficient in vitamins and are craving it.  It sounds weird, but this is pretty common.  As you accurately described it, it's just a quirk, so don't worry.
