how long??????

hey my female budgie Malackie layed two eggs a while ago since then they both hatched but one only survived. anyway Malackie hasn't kicked it out of the nest, and it is dead what should I do??? PS the other baby looks really healthy! thanks allot.

Keeping the dead one is a dangerous idea.  It could cause the healthy one to get sick.  You want to avoid disturbing the nest as much as possible.  Wait until Malackie is out of the nest, and take the dead one out.  I'm sorry to hear that he didn't make it, but I'm glad the other one is doing well!
