budgie illness?

i have a budgie that's about 3 years old, and lately I've noticed that she might be acting/ looking a bit different. I'm not sure what's wrong. First, I think her chest looks a bit bigger lately, and last night, i noticed her shaking when i cam into my room. i thought it may have been because i turned on the light and she had been asleep, but i noticed she was shaking too madly, and she kept putting her head back in her wings (sleeping position) but still really shaking. i got really scared and started searching the Internet. and also, i hear wheezes sometimes, like during every breath. And finally, is it alright if the tail bobs? Right now its hard for us to pay for the vet and Im really worried for her.

Your bird has all the signs of a respiratory illness.  You need to get your bird to a certified avian vet (not a cat/dog vet) ASAP.  Do not hesitate or you could lose this bird.  I know vets can be expensive, but your bird is ill and needs medication.
