Question
i've got 2 baby budgies.oh yah, why do we have to write our name when we want to ask a question. forget about that.
i have been wondering one of my budgies cere is mostly a tannish, brownish coluor so its most likely a girl.but there is somnething i do not get, that budgie has a rough looking cere does all female budgies have those kind of ceres

Answer
Some budgies have rough looking ceres.  As long as they do not seem to pick at it or scratch it, it is probably normal.  The cere is a signal to other budgies, letting them know that they are getting ready to breed.  When it is full and very colorful, they are ready to mate.  But when breeding season ends, or in young budgies, the colors tend to be more subtle and the cere can seem small and rough looking.

Regarding the name thing, I think it is supposed to make it seem more personal.  I've never understood it, it's something that the website does, not me.  If you want, you can write "anonymous" or anything you want, it doesn't matter.  I've had people even put :) in as their name.  If you're not comfortable writing your name in, just write in something else.
