falcon strike

I was out walking and rescued a white spotted dove/pigeon. It survived the night but won't eat. Don't want to keep it no time for another animal. Live in Murrieta southern California. Do you know anyone to take the bird?

Hello Laura.  Thank you for your post.
I have searched the internet for some place that would be able to take this poor rescued bird in.  Here is a link that may help you aout a bit.  If this doesn't help, then you might want to contact a local vet to see if they might have some information on a refuge.

I hope this helps.
In the mean time, you might have to hand feed this bird, with maybe some warm cooked oatmeal.  You might have to force it to eat and drink until someone can get to this bird.
